My name is Maria Anne Guerin.

I'm thirty-eight years old and an architect. I have a beautiful daughter named Carina. She's sixteen, and a witch. She started her sixth year at Hogwarts in September.

Her father... was the most amazing person I've known. But we parted ways just days before I learned I was pregnant. I've... heard snatched bits and pieces about him since, but I'd not seen him until he sought me out this summer and finally met his daughter. I am very glad that they get along, and that she's forgiven me for keeping the knowledge of who he is from her.
